This download contains the second half of the Level 5 requirement for Section 6-Structure, detailing standing restraint tactics. Building on "tree theory", focus is placed on trapping and neutralizing the spine through face locks and chokes, using macro movement and launching from our established gross motor clinch positions. Extensive real world experience has shown that limb control and fine motor skills are the most difficult to apply under stress against a resistance subject. While these skills can be cultivated as an add on to enhance practitioners, they are beyond the expected norms for a basic instructor. In this download you will reaffirm the absolute fundamentals of getting in, separating and extracting a violent subject simply and reliably.
