In our final mobility module for the basic curriculum, we cover the most pressure our body awareness can take--falling from height and being thrown.
In this download, we will continue the work started in module 5, addressing all rolling variations at speed, from height, over obstacles and uneven terrain. In addition we will explore compressed rolling in confined spaces and the numerous misunderstandings surrounding break falls: does it actually distribute surface area, is slapping the ground beneficial, is breakfalling even necessary, can total relaxation solve committed throws and more. As speed and pressure are added many of the illusions of slow rolling are shattered and fewer options remain.
