Deliberate Practice is the idea that mastery is not the product of natural giftedness, but rather the product of intentional, targeted, monitored training. Throughout this camp, the goal was clarity in goal setting, error correction, stress testing and micro refinement to ensure the highest level of understanding, internalization and expression.
Day 1 lays the ground work for mobility training and introduces the idea of the spinal engine, including detailed exercises for strengthening the spine and reinforcing its rightful primacy in the body. You will explore elasticity in ground flow through moves that include rolling, windmills and the knee ride.
Day 2 Addresses stance, structure and stability, breath reactivity and attacking trunk vs joints. It incorporates the bicycle, arm screws and the pendulum.
Day 3 concentrates on the reality of striking, with a dominant focus on dealing with the jab and low kicks.
Finally, day 4 focuses on knife defense, with a dominant focus on addressing rapid knife attacks to the face.
Please note that this product is in standard definition and not HD. It was our last product from our old platform, but the quality of the content is so good and we’ve had so many requests, that we’ve decided to include it here. This is one of my very favorite camps that I’ve ever given.
